Rob works full time at KNS Short Stop/Italian Restaurant and Sharry is the backbone of the business. They re-named it “KNS Short Stop” “KNS” is an abbreviation for Rob’s last name “Koons.” It remained a small grocery store/convenient mart, that incidentally began selling pizzas and subs! Later, an adjoining portion of the building was decorated as “KNS Short Stop Italian Restaurant.” >MORE DINING NEWS: Yellow Springs restaurant serves up comfort food with a twist Rob and Sharry stepped in for transfer of its title, and the keys were exchanged without any hiatus of its business. The teenage couple graduated from Kenton Ridge High School, before marrying in the early 1980s.
